Ceci (Xiyu) Feng

Ceci (Xiyu) Feng is 11 years old and currently studying in the fifth grade of Shixia School in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.  Since she was 5 years old, she has learned to play Guzheng, an ancient Chinese plucked musical instrument, which has more than 2,500 years of history. Ceci has fallen in love with this ancient musical instrument and Chinese classical music since then. 

 

After performing at the program of MUSIC FROM SPACESHIP EARTH™ - Cultural Histories of the World Through Music™ organized by OPEN, Ceci was inspired to join this diverse and international community, to communicate via music. She is honored to join the Music Team at OPEN, and looking forward to sharing with the OPEN community, especially her peers about the classical music and musical instrument from China. Meanwhile, she is eager to learn about the different amazing cultures via OPEN’s diverse programs.
