Students of the world unite - “WE ARE ONE!”

Congratulations OPEN students, teachers, parents, and administrators. Our “WE ARE ONE” Global education event was a moving and hopeful ending to a most challenging and unusual (to say the least) school year. Students came in from their homes and in a few cases in Africa into school in small groups. The music, the presentations and art work by your students were exceptional and the messages expressed the common bonds and solidarite of our diverse cultures. It also showed the wisdom and resilience of our future leaders, and their respective communities. They told it like it is, and then like it should be. So on to the new school year when our students will continue to work to improve their communities, expand their personal opportunities, work for social justice, and repair the planet from our past indiscretions.
