Syra Mehdi

Syra Mehdi is a third year philosophy and behavioral neuroscience major at Northeastern University.

 

In addition to studying, Syra participates in musicals and sings extracurricularly.

 

Syra’s passion has long been split between music and science, and in college those interests converged.

 

Now, she is fascinated by the intersection in music and medicine and how music can be a tool for healing.

 

Syra is thrilled to be a part of the OPEN team and provide both a musical and scientific perspective.
